This 6th annual Earth Day festival is being held on Saturday, April 16th, 2016 from 10-3pm. Given the recent challenges with drought faced by our State and City, we are raising awareness and asking people to honor and celebrate the role water plays in our daily lives. We believe this year represents an important opportunity to work and learn how to conserve water as a community.

Inglewood is undergoing a sustainability transformation, and this year’s festival will inform residents of the many new plans for the City, including the development of Healthy Lifestyle Centers by the Social Justice Learning Institute.
Join the Social Justice Learning Institutes Health Equity team, and participate in a wide range of free classes from nutrition, Farm to Plate cooking classes, and urban gardening workshops. Classes are offered every 3rd Saturday of the months from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
