Queen Park Learning Garden Day

Whether you have a green thumb or wish you had one, we invite you to volunteer with us at Queen Park Learning Garden in Inglewood. ⠀

Our Health Equity Programs Manager and Master Gardener Nicole Steele will lend you some gardening tips for your own home while we work together to grow nutritious fruits and vegetables for the neighborhood.⠀

Get ready to weed, water, harvest and plant. ⠀

To start volunteering, contact Nicole at nsteele@sjli.org or head over to Instagram and follow @queenparklearninggarden to find out which days of the week Nicole will be in the garden. ⠀

Park bathrooms are available and children are welcome. Remember to bring a mask and if you have your own gardening tools, bring those too. If not, we’ll have some sanitized ones available for you. ⠀

We live in sunny California, so don’t forget your bottled water and sun protection.⠀
