If you attended our first Home Court Advantage Community Visioning event on Friday, September 2nd, then you were one of more than 20 residents and community members who lent their voices and visions around affordable housing and community spaces in our great city of Inglewood.
With help from our friends Venice Community Housing, we covered the basic knowledge setting of affordable housing, explored what types of community spaces should be built in Inglewood and why, as well as identified the types of spaces and projects that don’t meet the goal of improving quality of life for residents.
We even built and mapped solutions to resolve conflicts in our community, such as traffic and congestion.
Now it’s time for community design.
Whether you joined us at our first community visioning meeting or are looking to weigh in for the first time, we invite you to join us on Friday, September 23rd at 5:30 p.m. at Rogers Park for our second in-person event.
Enjoy food and fun while we dive deeper into your ideas and the ideas presented in our last meeting.
We’ll then work together to build a Community Design Plan that we can implement and execute.
