#WondaLunch is back Saturday, August 21st at Augustus Hawkins High School (825 W. 60th Street, LA, CA 90044) and we need your help!
Join SJLI, Angela Rye, Jidenna, Wondaland, Black Kids Who Care, Wasserman Foundation, Deamers Youth, Paak House, Dosner Organic Farms, Baby2Baby, Crystal Stairs, Why We Give Project, Everytable, LA Regional Food Bank and Something Good 2 Eat as we distribute farm-fresh produce boxes, backpacks, baby supplies, school supplies and dry goods to over 1,000 families at this back-to-school event.
What You’ll Do:
🤝 Help us set up and breakdown
🚦 Direct traffic
🥬 Place items in the cars of drive-thru participants
🙋🏽♀️ Greet families
What You Need to Know:
🚶🏾♀️Requires walking and lifting
📞 Call time from 8 am to 2 pm (shifts are fine)
😷 Masks are required
🧑🏽💻 Must fill out a COVID screening questionnaire before approval to volunteer
🌡 Your temperature will be taken when you arrive
🚻 PPE and bathrooms available
💧 Water, snacks, light breakfast and lunch provided
